Diebold Nixdorf Profits Rise

In August 2023, Diebold Nixdorf emerged from restructuring and Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Its 2026 second quarter results report that the increased profitability of its German legal entities means it is once again a cash taxpayer in Germany, with Q2 adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) of $120.6 million, representing a margin of 13%. For the first six months of 2026, it made a total gross profit of $332.9 million per Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
